Whanganui's Airport, internationally known by the three letter code WAG, is one of the oldest continually operating airports In New Zealand, providing a vital service the regional community since the 1930s. Today it is thriving with commercial airlines, agricultural sir services, life saving flights, and several opportunities to learn from hobbyists to careers. Inspired by the 1990's BBC series Airport that looked at life within the famous Heathrow airport, WAG Stories will be of interest to aviation enthusiasts, but also those who love discovering interesting people doing unusual things with passion and purpose.
